Sammy’s House offers extended care on select evenings and weekends for children and teens 0-18 with special needs and their siblings. Respite is also offered to typically developing children whose parents seek to teach their children about diversity, inclusion and acceptance.
We encourage parents and guardians to take this personal time to recharge in order to strengthen the family.
The Teen Connection Program is offered on select evenings and weekends and provides teenagers with special needs an experience similar to their typically-developing peers. Teens enjoy on and off-site activities such as swimming, bowling, trips to iFLY and more! Each session is followed by an off-site dining experience to allow our teens to practice socializing and engaging with the community. Teen Connection is available to teens of all abilities, the only qualification is that they are non-aggressive and able to interact with various members of the community.
Sammy’s House is a nonprofit organization that endeavors to offer care to all children. Families assist with fundraising, which allows us to keep our rates competitive. In addition, we offer scholarships for qualifying families.
