Isabel, founder of Sammy’s House, created a child development center out of her home in 1999. She has a background in Chemistry, Botany, and Child Development.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University. As our Curriculum Coordinator, she develops enrichment programs such as ‘Giving to Experience Education’, a science program that teaches nature concepts to young children.
Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Therapy, and has been with Sammy’s House for 10 years. She teaches in our Toddler 1 classroom and has extensive experience in caring for children who are medically fragile.
Stacy is a Certified Medical Assistant working on her Associates Degree in Child Development. As an administrative assistant, Stacy provides support to the Program and Executive Director, while handling daily administrative tasks and assisting Development efforts. Will holds an Associates Degree in Child Development and teaches in our After School Program. He has years of experience working with individuals with special needs at the Austin State School and as an Early Childhood Educator.
Marylou teaches in our Toddler 2 classroom. She is passionate about children and education and is a dedicated volunteer at a variety of nonprofit organizations, such as College Forward, CureSearch and the Special Olympics.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Texas. She teaches in our Toddler 2 classroom and is an experienced case manager and child mentor.
Cheyenne provides care to our infants with and without special needs. She is currently studying pre-medicine and has 5 years of experience working with children.
